About: who we are.

X2 Productions Ltd was formed in 2005 as a collaboration between TV presenter Mike Brewer and ex-ITV executive producer Mike Burch. We supply exciting and entertaining male-orientated programmes to a range of Broadcasters including the Discovery Channel and ITV.

X2's speciality is putting vehicles, machines and weapons of every conceivable type through the most extreme and rigorous challenges. Our latest commission from Discovery Channel is called Frontline Battle Machines and epitomises the ethos of the company. In this groundbreaking series a documentary crew follows Mike Brewer as he journeys through the battle lines of Helmand Province, Afghanistan to test first hand the weapons and machines used by Allied forces in combat. This series goes beyond conventional road tests by placing the presenter and crew in the very frontline of the action. In the first episode the team come under direct gunfire as they test the capabilities of a Chinook helicopter, a mission that puts this craft through the most extreme test imaginable.

The team at X2 realise that television audiences need to be engaged with fully immersive experiences which continue across multiple platforms. At their purpose-built studios in Warwickshire they operate a fully tapeless workflow that delivers content to both broadcast and corporate clients in full HD. From viral ad campaigns to breathtaking aerial imagery X2 produce content that engages the viewer.

X2 have also developed branded programming in conjunction with many blue chip corporations including the Jaguar Land Rover group, Trader Media Group, ITV, PSA group, Mitsubishi Motors and Mazda Cars.

At X2 we have a long list of broadcast credits to our name and an impressive raft of RTS awards stretching back over twenty years. We continue to explore new markets and broadcast opportunities with a number of cutting edge ideas in full development.
